A HTC Vive game which simulates a Pinata factory quality assurance worker. Players get to distress and enjoy destruction of the pinatas.

Responsibilities

The game was a trimester project and the first VR game prototype. In this project we explored the feeling of hitting items and invoking presence into our game. My role in the game was to design a sound system and script all sound effect in the game. my Design goals is as follows.

  • making hitting and the destruction of the pinata sound satisfying.

  • ensure that the bat has multiple hit sounds for differentiating which item it hits.

  • create a radio to play BGM. Volume and BGM can be changed by turning the knobs of the game.

  • use #d sounds and visual effects on the vents to make spawning of the pinata more engaging
